Mind is a powerhouse of energy; largely untapped. Our so called normal living habits utilize only a fraction of this energy. However, a sense of awakening is slowly spreading about the true potential of human mind.
I see a lot of general dissatisfaction among people about the way they are living their lives. While money can buy material comforts and social prestige but it fails to provide any meaningful solution to the lingering sense of emptiness to any inquisitive person. In fact, all human happiness is subject to the interpretation of things by the mind. So, evolution of mind is an important part of happy and meaningful living – evolution means developing right attitudes, beliefs, ideas, and wisdom.
Meditation is the Only Answer
Proper meditation is the only tool to keep the mind in good shape and disciplined. Meditation is all about preserving and nurturing goodness and eliminating mental impurities. It is nothing but a path of self purification – of the subconscious store house of all past experiences and impressions. It is converting mental junkyard into a beautiful landscape where virtues and good thoughts can take roots and grow. It is reducing the force of mental “tendencies” that often drive us in unknown directions, despite all our so- called intelligence and logical brilliance.
Even if we can’t find time to meditate, it helps tremendously to keep healthy thoughts in mind. Thoughts are like seeds with potential to grow into ideas and shape our lives.
